In DC, undocumented workers who pay taxes and are eligible ITIN filers can apply for the DC ETIC in 2024 when they file their 2023 taxes. we continue to advocate for a tax credit program for DC families. A hearing was held, and we supported over 30 leaders submitting their testimonies. SIA was well represented at the hearing; many read their testimonies live. Now, we need a council vote for the program to be funded. Investing in DC families helps grow the local economy.
