SPACEs In Action welcomes all people, and our membership mostly comprises Black, brown, and immigrant residents of the DMV. We welcome new members year-round, and our members primarily reside in Washington, DC, or Maryland. In addition to membership, if you want to support the mission, we welcome financial donations to further our work.

Outreach and Engagement are how we build our base and bring more people into the SIA family
SIA provides interpretation for our meetings so that our Spanish and English speakers can build community and share their stories in their first language. When we meet in person, we provide a hot meal. Children are cared for by licensed providers while their adults are in a separate meeting. We also support transportation to ensure it is not a barrier to participation. Get in good trouble with us. with us.
